3D logic

Yesterday in my class we were set the challenge of beating our teachers level in a game called 3D logic.

It is a fun game where you have to link a seres of colours with out them over laping the game is set on a cube and some squares are blasck which means that you can not move the colour over that square the highst i have got is level 14 so try it your self but beware it is addicting.

End of the year

Sadly it is the end of the year and now i have to say googdbye to my friends that are going to different schools that i won't really see again.
it is sad to end the year cause i have had a really fun end to the year and starting high school is a little scary hope fully this won't be the last post i make but it might be (tear) but keep commenting thanks.

what do you want to be

hello every body to day my friends and i were talking about what high school we are going to and that made us think about what we want to be when we are older some wanted to be doctors one wanted to be a vet two didn't know and i want to be a hair dresser or an architect what do you think what to you want to be when you grow up please leave comments and tell me.

Standards day

On Wednesday the 4th of november we had standards day and it is like athletics day and the events were

• sprints

My favourite sport was discuss and i go ta number two in every thing but it dose not mean i got second it is just the score i got.

We have been learning to jump over the high jump bar correctly i think that i am inproving but i need to improve on my frosbury flop and my landing here is a video of me not trying as hard as i could

Shot Put

Hello every body in p.e lesson lately we have been learning how to throw a shot put correctly i don't think i am doing very good but i am definitely improving the think i need to improve on most would be putting more power in to my throw and really pushing the shot put forward.

Science

Today in my class we had a lesson on science with the science teacher Mr Wallace it was cool When he first came in we had to smell a substance that was in a bottle there was seven and i got all of them right and i was happy then we moved onto our next project that was to create carbon dioxide by mixing three teaspoons of carbonate soda and 30 mils of white vinegar and it did not work be cause we were supposed to mix it while they were still bubbling and we waited till it stopped bubbling until we poured it over the candle we were trying to put out.



if there was a next time i would change what i did by actually reading the instructions properly so the experiment would work.

Debats

Hello every body i hope your first week back at school was good lately in my class we have been organizing our debates and debating teams i am in a group with some one that is good on computers and so that is handy to have him in my group. Our topic for debates is why children should be paid to do chores.And i personally think that they shouldn't be paid cause it is part of living under your parents roof, but then again also getting paid for doing chores is good as well because it teaches money management skills.

Today we learnt a new way to find out information on google you just go into google normally and type in what you are looking up then just above the first search option you should find show options you click on that and it should come up with lots of options down the side you click on wonder wheel and up comes a brain storm map or you can click on time line and you choose what time and what month that the article was written. Also there is google squared you can make squares on information or just look up information here is a link try it for yourself.

Game Maker

Hello every body hope your first day back at school was a good one , today in my class we went on a programme called game maker to create a game by following a set of instructions that were given to us.Going on game maker was fun and the maze game that i made with my partner was good but it could have been a bit better if i knew a bit more about the programme.Game maker is a free down loadable programme just type game maker to google search box and it will come up so give it a try it is more fun than you will expect.here is a pic of my game

twlight review

hey you might think i am crazy but only for the first time ever i just saw the movie twilight and it was great that is my favourite movie of all times now.

All my friends had seen twilight and i just never got around to going to the movies or renting it but then today when it was pouring down outside i finally remembered to get it out.

I liked this movie because it was not predictable and it kept you wondering what will happen next. It was not just another movie where the main characters fall in love and live happily ever the story line changes and it is nail biting but then it goes in to the whole thing about living happily ever after but is is OK because it is a different lead up.

I really like this movie and would recommend it to everybody and i hope they enjoy it as much as i did.

holiday blog

Hello everybody i hope you all had a fun but safe holiday i have been meaning to come on to my blog and write a post but i have been really busy making the most of the holidays and hanging out with my friends.Its only tomorrow and then we have to go back to school and i really don't want to just yet i think another week would be good but then again i want to go back so that i can start an all new term with my new teacher i hope your first day back at school for term four goes well and i hope to update my blog soon.

Hello every body to day in my class we did some science with Mr Wallis and i was the one who took the photos but any way we learnt about Acids and Alkali's and miked together.



we mixed the following ingredients with boiled cabbage water which was purple.

• Vinegar


• Baking soda


• Lemonade


• Meths


• Washing powder


• Citric acid,

all of the powders such as baking soda and washing powder were mixed with water to make it easier to test adding the water did not make a difference to the end result.

When we mixed together the chemicals if it turned pink than it was a acid if it turned a Green colour than it was a Alkali and if it stayed purple than it was neither.

I took some really cool photos and and we are going to make a cool slide show to display the photos so check those out below.

MY REVIEW ON THE MOVIE 'UP'

'UP'

ON SATURDAY THE 12TH OF SEPTEMBER I WENT AND SAW THE MOVIE 'UP' BECAUSE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A COMEDY BUT IS WAS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE IT HAD MOMENTS WERE IT WAS QUITE FUNNY BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS SAD.

I WAS SOOOOO EXCITED TO GO AND SEE UP AND I COULDN'T WAIT FOR IT TO COME OUT BECAUSE IT LIKED SO FUNNY BUT ONCE THE MOVIE STARTED TO GET TO THE MIDDLE IT STARTED TO GET VERY SAD (TEAR)

MY SUMMARY

I THINK THAT THIS MOVIE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF IT WAS NOT SO SAD BUT IT WAS ALSO VERY FUNNY AT THE SAME TIME AND I PERSONALLY THINK THAT PEOPLE SHOULD WAIT FOR THE DVD TO COME OUT AND WATCH IT THEN.
